Respectful, hands-on help with bathing, dressing, and daily living — what personal care includes and how it works.
When bathing, dressing, or moving safely around the house becomes difficult, personal care is often the help that makes staying home possible. It's hands-on assistance with the everyday tasks we all rely on — provided with patience and respect.
What personal care includes
Our screened, trained caregivers assist with the activities of daily living:
- Bathing and grooming — safe, dignified help in the shower or at the sink
- Dressing — choosing clothing and getting dressed comfortably
- Toileting and incontinence care — discreet, respectful support
- Transfers and mobility — safe help moving between bed, chair, and bathroom, including mechanical lifts when needed
- Help with eating — encouragement and assistance at mealtimes
Dignity comes first
These are personal moments, and how care is delivered matters as much as what's done. Our caregivers take their time, protect privacy, and keep your loved one involved in every choice — so care feels like help from a trusted person, not a loss of independence.
Consistency you can count on
Whenever possible, we match your loved one with caregivers who become familiar faces. That consistency builds trust and lets a caregiver notice the small day-to-day changes that matter.
Wondering whether personal care is the right fit? A free in-home assessment will give you a clear picture of what would help most.
